This clear sculpture is made with chards of dichroic glass arranged in a random pattern. It is then covered with clear iridized strips then fired. This produces a spectacular display of glass work that will match any decor.
The colors change as the light changes and the movement produced from reflections creates "energy" in a sort of 3D effect. I know that sounds weird, but you just have to see it to believe it. Lately I have been using Glow Powder inside the piece so a night when you turn out the lights it glows for 3-4 hours.
This popular piece adapts to its environment, picking up room and accent colors. I make them in many sizes and orient the direction of the glass vertically as well as horizontally.
This piece adds a sparkle to any room with natural light on it by day and artificial light by night.
