This fused glass sculpture is one of the most popular pieces I have made. It reflects what happens between earth and sky which is daily life. How we choose to live life is up to each one of us.
The meaning behind the design is that sometimes when life is moving along smoothly, we are hit with chaos, or some event that causes a disruption of some sort. We get through it, let it go then continue on our journey. This perspective is represented by the way the calming blue colors give way to energetic reflections of dichoric glass that changes color with the light.
I have made several of these in different sizes and color variations that have all been numbered and archived.
