Have you ever took the time to observe a clear running stream as it flows through and around rocks and obstacles in its path? I have. The water is always moving forward in spite of its environment. In a sense, I aspire to living life that way. Stillness of heart in spite of turmoil.
In this sculpture I polished the aluminum to give energy to those surroundings that cause a change of course, and the soothing cool colors of the glass adapt to the course that is set before it and yet, it is always moving forward.
